Signature Angpao Collection

This is the first angpao project in Signature Market. "Double" was chosen to be the main concept of this project as company will give two angpaos in a set to their customers.

 

双喜临门 means double happiness, while 福寿双全 means double prosperity and longevity. In Chinese culture, Red symbolize joy, happiness and "ong". In Fengshui, Emerald symbolize eternity, peace and health. In Greek mythology, a phoenix is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. This is the main reason that I decide to use phoenix instead of dragon, “nian" monster or others. I wish this angpao collection will be the blessing for the new year 2019 with a new life that brimming with happiness, prosperous, healthy and longevity.

I choose the blind emboss technique to present out the phoenix, flowers and leaves as I obsess with the touch and the detail that can only been performed by blind emboss.  

 

Simple yet elegant, low profile without losing it's nobility.
